Tiling work to be complained about?

we walked through the house after the tile work was completed and were a bit surprised about some things.
Now we don’t know if we are just being picky or if the work was really done carelessly. Are these defects fixable and can they be complained about to the tiler?

These corner cubes are mostly installed at an angle.

One rail in the photos is also somewhat twisted. And the joint widths are not parallel in a few places.

And as seen in the last photo, don’t you mitre an inside corner?

Poor work overall. But the differences in the tiles are okay like that. That is because of your sampling. The white ones are wider, after all. Or did you say that he should cut them?

We did not say anything because we are laymen in this matter and relied on the tiler & tile dealer.
There was no statement from us regarding the elaboration.

Not really nice... But unfortunately, I don't see any real professional mistakes. I've seen worse tile pictures.

Did you pay a premium or budget price?

With us, it went through a construction company, all trades. But we will still pay the additional services or extra costs for stainless steel rails, oversized tiles. That’s why I can’t judge whether it’s standard or not. But I think it’s not a premium-price tiler, because otherwise he would be too expensive for the construction company. But one should be able to expect correct and good work from a specialist company. We have not yet paid the additional invoice.

Tell parts of your construction company during the conversation what you are dissatisfied with and see what they say. You can probably already assess from the current progress of the construction whether they are basically willing to talk or not.

Whether the tiler was paid premium or not was agreed upon with your construction company, and he is accountable to them for whether the work was appropriate or not. In any case, he did not make an effort.

I would probably pick out the areas for improvement that particularly bother me, but remain willing to compromise.
