So a tile of 320cm is simply a ceramic countertop for me, right? That's a different size, which we actually wanted as well (unfortunately our kitchen planner only found out too late that you can only get them up to 320cm - we would have needed 327 *grrrr*)

No, ceramic countertops are at least 20mm thick and are in a different price range. We have the tiles, for example, in the bathroom. They are actually floor or wall tiles.

Ceramic countertops also last longer ; ) it's just a question of manufacturer and price.

We would have gotten a ceramic slab with 12mm - but, as said, max. 320cm long and our [Übertiefe] (almost 80cm) would probably have been problematic as well.

Do you know a manufacturer? We searched but found nothing. Now we have Corian with integrated WB, very stylish in terms of appearance but I would never want it as a kitchen countertop again. That thing will probably be one of the first things we replace and if we then get a ceramic slab in the dimensions we need, that would be simply great.
