Tiling the kitchen countertop

Our ceramic countertop (which we did not choose) would have been possible up to a maximum width of 160cm and length was basically irrelevant. Only limited by the kiln for firing. But since it is a tunnel kiln, basically only the width is limiting. Regarding the thickness, I take back my statement. I was actually sure it was at least 20mm. But feel free to correct me.

We are also getting 12mm ceramics. But both slabs are shorter than 320cm. So unfortunately, I can’t help further, except that they are available that thin.

One second? A swipe of your hand? So: just as fast as any other surface. My current, standard kitchen one is more sensitive.

And not whether it's cool or lame.
