Well, that can be designed even more intelligently. Time and presence-dependent + coupling with the Nuki lock. I was thinking more along these lines... At the latest, a logic or interface is needed there KNX server Nuki

Wrong topic for the shower question ;)

Sure, you can include factors that raise the temperature earlier. However, presence then becomes irrelevant and a lock also doesn't seem like a sensible indicator of when the radiator should warm up. Ultimately, it comes down to a “dumb” timer.

Please also be aware that a towel radiator connected to the supply line of the underfloor heating will only lead to warm towels at -15 degrees outside temperature. Heating elements are completely useless in such a system because their heat is not retained in the radiator.
If you want warm towels, you need to choose a purely electric system and activate it 20-30 minutes before showering (triggered by whatever).
Alternatively, plan a second heating circuit with a significantly higher flow temperature.

For more complex logics, I use a Gira X1

Just a silly question: I have to install the drainage channel of the tiled shower already when cutting/laying the floor insulation and before/while installing the underfloor heating, right?

there are ready-made flow systems that can be cut to the required length. These systems also have all the density levels you desire. Your plumber or tiler knows this too

Regarding the heating load: it is probably a bit simplistic, but we simply extended the bathroom underfloor heating circuit by a few ceiling heating elements. Invisible doubling of the heating surface and we are literally completely satisfied. The fun didn’t cost more than 500,--.

Of course, you can also control radiators and electric cartridges via KNX, actuators, logic and an AI that records individual habits depending on the time of day and the position of the sun... we just didn’t think of that
