I commissioned switchup today to carry out my switch from Hamburger Energiewerke with 33.09 Ct/kWh, 9.89 Grgb/m to energy4u (ultimately belonging to Rheinernergie) with 27.31 Ct/kWh, 17.85 Grgb/m.
Conditions: sustainable green electricity
Contract term: 1 month
Price guarantee: 12 months

I am expected to save 452 EUR/a.

The only 1-month commitment is always important to me because I have experienced that this results in better service when you can leave immediately at any time.

From a price perspective, it could surely be less, but then not with sustainable green electricity and usually with a mutual commitment of at least 12 months.

Yes, and we will also make this comparison, but only after we have a full year with Tibber. The numbers above are from the "bad" months, so I don’t want to rush into comparing yet. By the way, I was also told (by the technical expertise of our household) that part of the fees at Tibber (the grid usage fee) is also location-dependent. Therefore: We are using Tibber near Munich.

Tell me, is it actually possible to have two contracts from different suppliers with two meters? And then theoretically switch with a toggle switch? So, whenever the Tibber price drops below the fixed price amount or something like that, you switch, and if it’s even negative, you charge as much as possible? Of course, you have to calculate again whether it pays off, but since there apparently are providers that only cost 5 EUR / month GG, it could go pretty quickly...

Shouldn't be a problem since they are different "measuring points." Of course, this does not work with cascades.
