This evil deer

We have a nasty little roe buck. It comes regularly and eats the new trees and bushes. Or it marks and strips everything bare. In short: a game fence is needed. Now I'm looking for something where the cat can still get through at the bottom. So a mesh size of 15cm should be it. But I can't find anything. There is always this stupid [Hasenschutz] included. Has anyone else had the same problem?

No, I think fences are crazy.
Not that we are taking away land from nature bit by bit, dividing it into rectangles and over-fertilizing the flora, then there’s supposed to be a fence serving as a barrier for animals.
Yes, where are the wild animals supposed to go if you want to fence in "your" area? I find that absolutely selfish of you.

That is the absurdity of some people: happily far away in nature so that the urban doesn’t catch up... and then locking up nature.

As a hunter, I can tell you that house cats cause considerable damage to native animal species. At night, more British Shorthair and Persians sneak across the fields than foxes and badgers. No ground-nesting birds are safe from house cats, and fawns are just as much on the menu as young hares. But if Minka has gone 300 meters away from the nearest house, then there will be trouble...

Leave my cat alone, she is nothing different from you. Predator. Only quieter....

Deer protection belongs around the tree, not around the property.
