We are temporarily moving back into a rental apartment and have therefore purchased a kitchen. The kitchen is made of [Kernzwetschge NB] and magnolia white (high gloss). For the tile backsplash, we were offered 2 panels in [Kernzwetschge NB] and a glass panel in magnolia white (additional cost 400 euros). We would prefer a more cost-effective solution.
Our considerations now are: - a thin panel in [Kernzwetschge] imitation; but where to get it (apparently, the hardware store only has thicker ones, as far as I have seen so far) and how to attach it?
- a film in [Kernzwetschge] imitation; but here, too, we have not found anything yet and are also wondering if it is even possible to cover the tiles like that? Or if the tile pattern "shows through"?
- suggestion from acquaintances: parquet flooring/PVC/linoleum in [Kernzwetschge] imitation; but how to attach it?
Do you perhaps have other ideas? Or experience with the above considerations?
