As soon as she knows about it, she has to tell others as well. Otherwise, it would be fraudulent deception. From the way you describe it, I assume the brokers or at least the owners know about it. -> is something still being concealed?
I wouldn't buy the house. Only if the causes are absolutely known and you can calculate the repair costs. But even then, nasty surprises can still occur...
I called the real estate agent today and said that there is no longer any interest. She just said: May I ask why? I explained it to her.
She: Ohh okay
She didn't know anything about it.
But about the worm.
Quote from the real estate agent: She knows about the worm, according to the seller there was one inside but a roofer said it is okay now.
Fine and dandy, why wasn't I told this during the viewing?
What do you want? To buy cheap? Then act now. Not to buy at all? (That's what I would do) Then simply cancel now and today. No more interest due to severe moisture damage. Period. No comments, no excuses. Just: No, don't want it anymore. Karsten
Won't buy because it's too expensive.
Dream house is often subjective... you must never, ever let yourselves be lulled by these infos now. How long has the house been listed? Is the price "market-appropriate" in your eyes?
I would also at least massively lower the price there.
It hasn't been listed long, about 2 weeks. Price-wise for the location with the plot it's okay... actually even too cheap.
