A nice weekend to everyone!
I want to pave the driveway to my detached house. This should be done professionally in the future as part of an extension, e.g. paving, but this will only be possible in 4-5 years.
Until then, I would like to do this provisionally myself. The house is located on a hill, and the driveway is supposed to split halfway, thus reaching the back and front areas of the house.
Currently, part of the driveway is minimally paved, almost like a dirt road, the other part is just grass.
My plan: mow completely, loosen the soil about 15 cm deep, bring in a truck with gravel, spread it, compact it with a vibrating plate, bring in a second load of gravel, compact again.
Overall, it is about 70 x 2.5 m, so quite a stretch. Thanks for your opinions.
Regards, Michael
