Telekom connection - line already laid, still have to pay 600€?

Please discuss this with Telekom and report back... as mentioned, I fear that you will have to pay the 600 €.

I am already waiting for a callback from the technician. I have threatened them to switch to [Kabel] if the fee remains the same...

The 600 euros do not include any earthworks :) last year it was still 400€ for the connection, by the way. and the connection outside of course also costs something. have you looked at the homepage?

Now seriously: You can do that. But first get an offer from the cable provider. If they are even able and willing to install cable for you, you will surely get an offer that will leave you breathless (and not because it's so cheap).

So: Contact the builder's hotline, secure the 400,- credit and pay the rest.

The cable for the phone is already there anyway. The one from the cable network operator still has to be installed. That will really be expensive!!
