Tear out the wall

Hello everyone. I would like to remove (have removed) a wall to enlarge the living space. I know someone in construction who knows about it, at least about demolition. But how do you actually deal with electrical cables and telephone sockets that are located exactly in this wall, the telephone socket definitely has to be relocated. And just strip the end of the electrical cable? Building plans or circuit diagrams? are not available. So you would actually need an electrician? + structural engineer + electrician If a beam has to be installed because it is a load-bearing wall, it will be quite an expensive thing, right?

I would neither bring a structural engineer nor an electrician and would handle it all myself. Removing a wall is probably not difficult. In doing so, you pay attention to the cables that are supposed to be inside. Afterwards, you rearrange the cables as you want. You might need to extend the cables.

It really depends on what kind of wall it is. If it is a load-bearing wall, you can't just start hammering like that. You can easily find the cables (there are tools to check). They would have to be removed and then you can get started. Unless the wall is load-bearing... then only work with supports!
