Tall cabinet can be shortened

Hello everyone

I have a problem planning my Faktum kitchen. Unfortunately, my room height is only 195cm. My question now is, is it possible to shorten a Metod tall cabinet (e.g. FA 507) without problems? Do you need special tools for this? I have a saw and a drill, I’m not a professional but I’m not unskilled in handiwork.

Great, thanks! Then I have another question. I have a 10 cm gap at the back because water pipes are attached to the wall there. Can I also cut the side panels? Meaning use 2 side panels and cut each?
