Sooner or later, it will come down to the house falling to you.

Therefore, please consider whether you can buy it, possibly with a guarantee from [Vater];

possibly with renting out partial areas

possibly your [Vater] moves in as a tenant

If she asserts her right to sell, then I have bad chances?!

She could probably have it auctioned off due to "Aufhebung der Gemeinschaft" or sell her half share.

So far, she has reacted very calmly and generously ... so you certainly still have some time to find an appropriate solution.

There is probably no way to transfer the existing loan to another bank, is there?

Have you already offered the ex to pay her off in installments? It doesn't always have to be a bank between two parties. On the other hand, you don't seem very liquid. Loads of debt and lifelong obligations... women don't find that very attractive.

I don’t fully understand the arrangement yet. You are basically sharing the loan equally at the moment? Only she added an extra 25k to your ex-wife as a bonus? On what grounds is she now demanding this back from you? Effectively, what counts is what is still owed to the bank. She has a "claim" exactly on that part. Whether you then are fair enough to pay her the additional 25k (outside of the bank and according to your possibilities) is then your decision. Or am I misunderstanding something?
