New construction of a single-family house. Until now, I had only spoken with people who said that a normal door is allowed there. An employee of the building authority said in a conversation that because of the gas heating, a T30 door must also be installed in the hallway...

I followed up again with the building authority ([eine Kompetenzstufe höher]). The building authority’s first statement was nonsense. A normal interior door can be installed between the hallway and the utility room with gas heating.
