Hello community, I would like to build a sports and equipment room made of sandwich panels, maybe you can help me with suggestions and tips. The plan is a construction of about 3.5m x 6.5m on a paved surface (there was previously a garden shed here). A partition wall to separate the equipment room at 2m, each room will have its own door, no windows planned. The roof as a shed roof or flat roof with a slight overhang (100cm?) for the dry storage of firewood. H-post anchors with pad foundation for the beams. The following questions are still open for me: - Construction: I want to build from wood - what thickness should the beams have? 70x70 mm? - at what distances do I need beams for wall and roof (every meter?). We hardly have any snow load here in the north. - Which insulation thickness for the panels is recommended? I was thinking of 40 or 60 mm for wall and roof. It will not be heated and heating is not necessary. The garden shed also had no heating (even in winter). - Are the sandwich panels installed vertically or horizontally? I have seen both or is it a matter of taste? - Do I need a drip edge at the bottom? - Do I need a sealing tape between the construction and panels? - Must expansion joints be left between the panels? I read 10-20 mm and fill with foam?
