Hello Robbaut,
my shutter manufacturer advised against WDVS thermal anchors. The shutters have to withstand certain forces, for example during a gust of wind. And the thermal anchors bridge 16cm of Styrodur and are anchored in crumbly aerated concrete. The concern is that shear forces create space in the drill hole, allowing driving rain to penetrate into the WDVS.
Do you have personal experience with Thermax anchors?
Thanks + best regards
