Is that really the case? Or put differently, do you need a perfect screed if you then work with impact sound insulation?
So my Schieva does this quite often or is often in new buildings. He says that nowadays you don’t really need that anymore, or he would criticize a new screed on which you can't immediately lay click flooring without leveling compound.
That depends on many factors and is ultimately also a question of contract design. You have to check what has been agreed on in the purchase contract or construction description. In our case, it states that “leveling the screed with corresponding leveling material and filler does not belong to the floor covering works."
There are flatness tolerances that apply to surfaces of ceilings (top and bottom side), subfloors, screeds, floor coverings, walls, wall coverings, and suspended ceilings. The DIN 18202 tolerances in building construction regulate the limit dimensions, angle tolerances, and flatness tolerances for the execution of buildings. We have an external building surveyor who will check this accordingly.
