Standard width of windows?

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the standard width of windows.
In our planned floor plan, the windows are listed with a width of 1m and a height of 1.25m. This is the size of the opening in the wall, so from wall to wall.
Is the width of 1m standard or is that too narrow?
I think 1.10m or 1.15m would be more comfortable.

What do you think?

I know the standardization of always +12.5cm...

There is no standard width for windows; whether they are 1.01 or 98 cm wide is relatively irrelevant. However, you should keep in mind that current (plastic) window frames with tilt-and-turn fittings can already have a width of 13-14 cm, so from your clear width of 100 cm, only 72 cm of glass remains. What you meant by ypg is the construction dimension, but it probably hardly plays a role anymore with the variety of wall constructions nowadays. Classic masonry with brick and mortar joint is not common anymore.
