Specifications for fireplace/oven distances

20cm should be enough there. With my brother, the 5 cm passes over the ridge of the roof. The BKM approved that. The external chimney must / should not get too hot, it will be properly insulated / protected - otherwise, there is a risk of burns everywhere on the surface?! That must not happen!

Regarding the distances of the stove itself in the room, there should be something in the technical documentation of the stove. The stove I chose, for example, only needs 15cm clearance at the back. And under the manufacturer's specifications, presumably no chimney sweep will approve it...

You do realize, hopefully, that I'm not a chimney sweep! I just passed on an experience report to you. Please don't derive a general rule from it. It simply means: It can work - but it doesn't have to. Your BKM will be the only one who can give you a definitive statement.

But I found another technical document about the stove that also includes measurements for safety distances, see attachment.

I see it like this:
9 cm to the back
14 cm to the sidewall

Of course, the plate underneath must actually overhang by 27.4 cm, but if the stove is against a wall, it doesn't need to.

Your opinion doesn't matter, there are regulations that decide. And before you ask again; they are stated in your building savings contract!
