Solid wood house different dates for construction start

When it comes to solid wood, I throw Wir-Leben-Haus into the room. Small, but not only active regionally. We are satisfied. I can't say how the delivery times currently are or the behavior due to the crazy markets.

Our live-in house is local to us; most of the craftsmen really come from around the church tower here. They are the ones I would have chosen for individual contracts as well. I think the farthest was the scaffolder from the Fulda area. Many craftsmen are brought in from our region. If that doesn't work, they look, as far as I know, for locals on site. So no tenders, the cheapest gets the contract, and communication with hands and feet. You also have a dedicated site manager who is really your contact person and manages the construction site.
In 2017, we paid 2,000 euros per square meter without the floor slab and retaining wall behind the house, ready to move in. It really depends a lot on the equipment. They are extremely flexible in that. They can do anything from a hardware store showerhead to a designer rain shower built-in.
No idea about current prices. Best to just call there.

We have a fixed price until move-in, so without a time limit, that was important to us back then. But currently, the fixed price is unfortunately of no use to us because Kaufmann does not adhere to the contract. Kaufmann also rejects a 50% cost sharing. In your offer, price increases have certainly already been factored in.
