Hello €uro,

Dear €uro - sometimes, in my opinion, you are guided by one-dimensional thinking

It is neither about the builder taking over the work of the plumbing company nor the manufacturer; certainly not about tinkering with anything!

This thread is about – as Micha correctly stated – on the one hand collecting ideas from builders to solve the problem; sometimes it really is just minor issues. On the other hand, it is also about involving Vaillant – which, represented by one of their technicians, has so far not been very successful – in the responsibility. If this does not succeed, what you have very rightly recognized will happen – the builder is left to fend for himself and that cannot and must not be!

On Monday, I will try my luck again with Vaillant in KR; I have no intention of giving up or continuing to watch this theater. However, this time under the worst possible conditions for this provider. Yesterday, I personally had an encounter with the technical customer service regarding a private matter. What can I tell you? A technician also left my place without doing anything; he would have preferred me to buy a new boiler. It’s fun when the burner does not do what it was designed for at these temperatures

Another confirmation of our decision not to work professionally with this manufacturer.

Best regards

Hello,

Quite cryptic

I have already understood that; tomorrow a friend who is an installation and heating technician will get in touch and see if your assumption is correct.

You don’t need to scream Exactly because of reactions like that, I wrote that you think in a one-dimensional way in my opinion.

I KNOW that it is not a manufacturer problem in the classical sense! BUT I think Vaillant has a moral obligation to help find a solution. Especially because their licensed companies and even their own technicians are simply too stupid :-(

If even the general contractor can’t get the “horse going” despite a lawyer’s very clear demand – what then? Should the client wait as long as someone moves in this game of Mikado and thereby loses? Not everything can always be clearly distinguished in black and white; the gray zone is wide.

What you suggest – which is also correct, don’t misunderstand me – requires all parties to want to cooperate. But the laws/judgments of this country take quite a long time before one of its representatives applies them in reality and leads to a result.

You can ask questions. By the way, a simple gas condensing boiler with solar domestic hot water production is not rocket science. And – it was planned/dimensioned exactly. What causes the error are – as always – human shortcomings. And again – the manufacturer is very much also in moral duty; after all, their licensed partners caused this mess.

and the world is flat.

Not in the problem itself for sure – but definitely in the development/application of solutions!

Best regards

Hello everyone
just briefly off topic...
If I may briefly quote the best author in the (*world of discs*):

"'Multiple exclamation marks,' he went on, shaking his head, 'are a Sure sign of a diseased mind.'"
-- in "Eric(!Faust)"
(In the official translation then:
"Three exclamation marks," he continued, shaking his head. "Sure sign of a sick mind.")
[Terry Pratchett]

Ah, simply wonderful
Sorry, no offense!

back to the topic:

(1) The voltage in Germany was raised to 230V a long, long time ago, and
(2) I asked whether the pump is operated at 230 V or with 3 phases (=400V). Or is it not clear to you what a rotating field is?? A rotating field only exists in a three-phase network when more than one phase is used (normally - I will leave aside cases where a quasi-rotating field is created with a capacitor). Hence my question about the power supply...

That always depends on the company philosophy: when my customers call me because they have a problem, I always help immediately and gladly. Regardless of whether we as the manufacturer made a mistake or not. The "guilty party" can be sought after the solution has been found. And then you can certainly talk about costs and liability. But first we always solve the problem.
In this regard, my employer has a great attitude - and it would simply be nice if other companies thought the same way...

Best regards
Micha

So true! The question alone is already funny, as it shows considerable ignorance and naivety! Anyone who suspects a three-phase connection based on these power specifications clearly demonstrates the value of assumptions made by "hobby experts".
