Well, I would think about it again
=> Wärmemengenzähler is not a thermometer It can measure the actual amount of energy "harvested". However, it is mostly forgotten, as it would then reveal the true "modesty" of the standard 0815 solar thermal system.

Hi there

Temperature is thermal energy

And when the water gets colder - so it gives off thermal energy - then there is something else that takes up this thermal energy - so it gets warmer

But whether that really leaves a measurable effect in the room I dare to doubt - and you definitely won't notice anything on the heating costs

Micha

That is really shocking. No wonder so many builders get duped.

Hello!

A very concrete and helpful statement. Otherwise, I absolutely agree with Micha&Dany.

I'm sure €uro has a detailed and factual justification for such a qualified claim.

Best regards,
Tomtom.

Morning!

Well, if a panel radiator with much less water content and significantly lower flow temperature can have an effect, then a 300 l storage tank at 60 degrees Celsius probably can too.

Otherwise, it serves no more for heating than my condenser tumble dryer - they are just "side effects".

Best regards,
Tomtom.

Hello Tom

Well, if you think about how much heat energy is released...

300l at 60° - if it cools down to 40° you could now calculate the amount of heat.
Who absorbs the energy?
Pipes, insulation of the storage tank, depending on the installation also the wall, the room air, ...

It's not that much heat energy after all and it is distributed among many other things - and air probably has the worst heat capacity of all those things...

But physics has been a while ago for me too, so these are all just estimates - whoever is interested in more precise calculations can do the math

Micha
