Hello,
question about your picture.
If you are already having sockets installed there, why don't you just make the roller shutter drive electric right away?

Doesn't a motor also have to go into the roller shutter box? No idea, to be honest, what preparations would still be necessary... At most with an electric strap winder, which would go into the opening and then only need power.

The motor is located in the roller tube. I am currently renovating a bathroom, the switch is next to the door, the cable goes upwards, along the suspended ceiling, and from there goes back down to the roller shutter box. I foam-insulated the belt winder box, as well as the belt passage to the roller shutter box. That cost me about €120 at Somf....y, I didn’t need the supplied switch or all the plastic stuff for the tube, the motor alone would have been enough, I think it costs under €80. You can also put the switch where your belt winder box is. Regards Dieter
