Well, huge is relative, but for an apartment of 100m² I do find it quite large, especially since there are (two) big rooms....

I skimmed through the thread. Nowhere did I read whether a new building is present or just a shell construction? This is crucial. But unfortunately, the OP has so little knowledge of all the discussed matters that he needs comprehensive advice. He will hardly receive that here since the current wishes and ideas of the OP are "creepy" for the experts here and will never find approval (my opinion). The OP means PowerLAN adapters with DLAN, even if from the market leader Devolo. They are taboo in new buildings! They cost money to purchase, in operation, and interfere with DSL signals. So using them is the dumbest idea of all. Run network cables – done! And this runs through the entire thread ... or did I miss something?

My request to the OP:
Please present your property again comprehensively and "neutrally" with all details! Maybe even pictures? Formulate your wishes (door opening by code, light control, etc.) as comprehensively as possible but without going into the technical implementation.

I would have said DSL is taboo in new buildings; fiber optic belongs there.

Fortunately, the electrician pulls network cables for free ;)

We have 6 network sockets and paid a cool 1,000 EUR net for them. And in the end, everything still runs over WLAN... because smartphones and tablets are so stupid to connect to RJ45, and the daughter doesn’t want a cable on her laptop in bed either.

Oh, and the router (with 24 ports) in the HAR, which hums 24/7, is of course also free and doesn’t consume any power. Makes sense.

So we only have switches here to turn off the light or for the central function [Haus verlassen] and night mode, the rest is handled by the intelligence and it works perfectly.

Good morning, well, I see it a bit differently, since routers and Devolo now coordinate very well regarding interference, I have very little concern about that. Your prejudices about DLAN probably come from the past. Nowadays there are hardly any problems. That’s why I don’t have big scruples about it and at the moment I am very satisfied with it in my own home. Network and Wi-Fi everywhere I want it…. I am happy to present it again… so I want to set up an electrical installation centrally, which makes sense since it will be a shell construction. I will assemble and pull the cables and the control cabinet together in the house. The central cabinet will supply two apartments. Everything there should be executed smartly. That’s why I am on home
