I have never promoted anything. I asked a question. If that's the case, I gladly accept it. I asked "What can I not realize with Homematic?" and you answer "Integration." That is not an answer to my question. That is an evasive answer without naming any arguments. In my environment, several families have integrated Homematic excellently into their homes and, thanks to gateways, have also wonderfully operated it interoperably at the same time with other solutions. But it's okay if you are not familiar with Homematic; a simple "Unfortunately, I can't answer your question" would have sufficed. Maybe someone else has a plausible idea what I can implement with KNX but not with Homematic and is relevant in everyday life.

It is not about what you have done or not done. The common opinion is just like that. Most people do not really know much and only see the price for the hardware/software (because everything else is hard to grasp and simply not understood). That's where the reputation comes from. The many electricians who never had anything to do with it again after training contribute their part.

It's not about the "what" but about the "how".

But that would not correspond to the actual circumstances.
