Slope of the garage - Which design?

Hello everyone,

we need to make a decision regarding the slope in the garage. There are 2 options:
1. Slope outward towards the garage door.
2. Slope to the middle of the garage with a drain (maybe including [Ölabscheider] ;) )


How did you do it? Which option is better? Do you have alternative suggestions?

I decided on 1.

No slope at all. The 3 times a year when you drive into the garage with slushy snow, you just go through later with the scraper.

It is done like that here too. Besides, with the small amounts of water, there is no real flow movement at all. Because it's basically the same whether the puddle is located directly under the tire or spread out over 30cm length on the ground.

Yes, slope doesn't help you much. Water only drains with a very steep slope, and nobody wants that. Implement option 1

We also have no slope. Until now, I didn't even know if there could be any point in it :rolleyes:
