Sleeping under slanted ceilings

After we finally moved into our new home, it quickly became clear that the large bedroom under the roof is much too bright - and warm. We have equipped some rooms on the ground floor with Schotties folding blinds and are very satisfied. However, under the roof, we would need a model that darkens... And is not completely rectangular. Any ideas?

Hello, you won't be able to avoid an expensive custom-made solution. It’s about a vertical window in a side wall, right?

From Ikea, the only option for darkening is the TUPPLUR blind. In theory, you could take the fabric, cut it to size, and come up with and build a clever mechanism, but for that you really need to enjoy tinkering and crafting as well as have time and patience.

The window is also located in the slope, it is an old model from Fakro. I enjoy tinkering - I'll take a look at that!
