You should definitely first plan how you want to position your house on the land. So where should the terrace be? Please justify immediately, otherwise the forum will protest. ;)

So, the original plan was to have the terrace go once around the kitchen with the floor plan (and still in front of the bay window), thus around the corner, so that one still gets the western sun. During the day, I even find it quite good not to have the blazing sun on the terrace. A south-facing terrace is not possible (if you don’t want to look at the street), but it's also not desired by us ;)

At least on the upper floor, the similarity between Brad and Leonardo is probably limited here to the bay window and gallery - that would in any case not be enough to effectively convey the character of the dream house.

In Lower Saxony, a knee wall of 1.80 m is probably still not considered a full storey.

Not with a roof pitch of ten degrees ;-)
