Those were exactly our wishes that we directed to him.

Then clarify why he understood so little of it. After that, give him one more chance, and then decide whether to change the architect.

I don't find the approach that completely wrong. Basically, only a separate wardrobe was missing, and he doesn't like the dressing room that way. Maybe the former was forgotten to be communicated? He certainly couldn't have guessed the latter. Here is the last draft as an urban villa, although it pains me a bit. The children's room size is a little smaller than in the original. But I still find over 19m² quite ample. A fireplace and partition wall between the kitchen and living area could also be solved more openly. I would leave that thing out. The houses are now insulated in such a way that you don't feel the need for more warmth in winter. An electric imitation would probably suffice.

Viewed absolutely, you don't have to criticize the draft. Nevertheless, you don't go to the architect to have them pull a "house of other people" out of the drawer and erase a bit in it. From the "real architect," one rightfully expects, in my opinion, that they "cook fresh" for their fee.

Hello,
Of course, unnecessary boxes should be avoided, but it is not such a problem.

Because you can certainly incorporate these boxes into the room design.

We have the downpipe and thus such boxes in the living room and have framed the TV with them and put LED strips on the sides.

No one has ever come up with the idea that there are pipes behind them.

Everyone thinks it was intentionally designed that way.

Best regards
Birgit
