We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the draft from our architect.
We are about to submit this to the municipality.

Should primarily serve as a real estate investment (rental income). Many interns and working students rent here.

..and then only a sliding door to the living room? Drunks at the party who get the door wrong, stagger into the living room or have sex in the guest room? Or those who go upstairs to the toilet (because downstairs is currently occupied)...

I call that a granny flat with family connection

How about a second door that allows for a vestibule with its own exit to the basement?
