If a ridge direction is prescribed, this usually also applies to a "house axis" or "orientation," i.e. even on a square floor plan, a symbolic (but unnecessarily expensive) half-meter-long roof ridge would be desirable.

But that is not provided at all in the tent roof according to the floor plan review. Where should the roof hatch be now? And to be able to stand in the middle at all, the tent roof would have to have a proper slope of about 30 degrees. Then there would be about 9 sqm above 2 meters height. I don't understand the pessimism when you can practically install a fixed attic ladder above the actual stairs in a gable roof house. And yes: double casement windows are a makeshift solution, but at least quite practical: they do what they are supposed to do.

I am confused... if there is a development plan, why must one then follow the other existing development? I always thought that in that case the development plan is what counts?
