The fact is that the future carport will be paved on the inside, so I need at least an edge stone/curbstone/lawn edging stone as a border for the paved area.

Now I stumbled upon angle curbstones / angle concrete edging boards, basically a small L-stone H: 22 x W: 50 x D: 27, which can be moved without an excavator and I would additionally have an angle so that the concrete wedge basically ends at the boundary. If the neighbor feels like it later, he can place an edge stone on his side before he starts his paving.

Or I could even stay with the variant of 20-30 cm away from the boundary so that I can fill the possibly visible concrete wedge towards the neighbor and plant it with ground cover plants. Of course, I will discuss the options with the neighbor, but he will probably say, as always, "You do it, I don’t care."

Maybe I'm overthinking it, and what I’m calling a slope here isn’t worth mentioning; it’s just that so far none of the garden landscaping contractors has suggested anything different, which is clear as it reduces the profit you can make from a layman.

Under no circumstances use "unarmierte L-Steine" You will not enjoy them for long. They break too easily.
