Just read in the other post that besides you there is also a _wir_: does this person also basically always shower outside?

Mobile greetings on the go

Legionella bacteria thrive especially well at about 30 to 45 degrees. Here, the bacteria not only survive but also multiply rapidly. If consumers want to prevent legionella, heating the water helps:

At a temperature of at least 50 degrees, legionella stop reproducing and slowly die off.

From about 60 degrees, the dangerous pathogens die.

Conclusion: Preventing legionella means ensuring that the hot water is heated to more than 50 degrees.

Be cautious with stagnant water: When we use warm water from the tap, a certain amount of water usually remains in the pipes. This stagnant water cools down again here and can provide legionella, which have settled in the pipes or especially in dead legs, the perfect comfort zone. The next time we turn on the tap, we draw exactly this contaminated water from the tap. It helps to let the water run for a few seconds.

My suggestion:
Don’t worry if you want to shower or brush your teeth at home first; just let the water run for 30 seconds beforehand, and you’re good.
