Shower unused? Still want to keep it functional?

Better search for Legionella and how they develop. That will answer some of the troll questions.

Given the frequent third showers I encounter here in the house plans, I can easily imagine an unused shower. Pipes clogging is promoted by low flow. However, the idea of lukewarm water is amusing / silly: microorganisms usually cope best with "comfortable" temperatures, "really" hot helps better. And the idea of saving a private shower by combining workplace and sports club really sounds laughable. One could also ask the question regarding a gas stove if you have a microwave at work and in the clubhouse *LOL*

Because stone lice multiply in gas pipes, which are even bred for the production of aerated concrete blocks ;-)

I don’t even know what your problem is. I’m dirty after work and can shower there. It would be stupid to get into the car dirty to shower at home. I’m sweaty after sports. It would be stupid to get into the car to shower at home. Right? What that has to do with trolling etc. is beyond me. But oh well. And yes, the thing with the lukewarm water was maybe a bit thoughtless. Hot is better. And ice cold? That must be exchanged too, right? And how often, no one could answer either. Sure, maybe for you it’s a funny/trollish question but no one could answer it either. Because with the mention of a third shower, the question doesn’t seem that weird in general, right? It’s a shame that you get bashed more often than getting help.....

It is Sunday, and since your other question also comes awkwardly out of the blue, the suspicion of trolling is not that far-fetched. What did you expect: when the moon is waning, first let cold water run for four and a half minutes, then an hour later the same amount of warm water, and vice versa when the moon is waxing???

How are we supposed to help them? Impart common sense? What is supposed to break on a shower if you don't use it? Maybe the stagnant water is slowly becoming hard.

But you brush your little teeth?! That should be enough for a flow. I would rather worry that the fittings might no longer be easy to operate. Otherwise: those who have no problems create some.
