Good evening, to keep it short, I have the following problem: I just moved into a "fully renovated apartment" and quickly noticed that the shower tray has a bulge in the middle and the water stays at the front instead of running to the drain at the back. Today, an alleged "plumber" from the landlord came to fix the problem... see the pictures... He chiseled away the tiles with a chisel, lifted the shower tray, placed plastic blocks underneath, and then foamed it with well foam. I think you don't have to be an expert to see that this is not correct. I would now like to know from you how this problem could be properly professionally solved. Thank you in advance

My mineral cast tubs in the new building look similar underneath, I also thought what a mess. Are the glasses already installed again and do they close properly? It's not nice at all but if it works now, the tiles are reinstalled cleanly and the fountain foam can be removed without residue, I don't see any big deal. The photo with the spirit level unfortunately doesn't show what you want to express with it. Is that the slope for the water drainage or is the tub frame now so crooked? As I said, if the glasses close cleanly and you can't visually detect a slanted tub and the water flows where it should = enjoy life and don't think about it further.

I'll put it this way, the frame of the shower tray should be horizontal, otherwise there will be the next problem with the glass partitions. The slope is provided in the shower tray itself. Professionals build with suitable sub-elements. Didn't the foam push the shower tray upwards?

Here you can see that the front corner has been pushed up massively. The glass pane rests on the front and there is at least 15 mm of clearance at the back. The doors will no longer work. Or is the wall not plumb?

After 15mm, it doesn’t look like that to me. Please measure it again, it's easy to jump to extremes... When will the glass doors be reinstalled and who will do that? As already said, first put everything back together and then get an overall picture.

Hello everyone,
thank you for the many replies.
I told the installer that I will not accept it as it is and insist on a new shower tray, it will be installed on Monday.

In my opinion, this is the only solution to properly install the shower enclosure.
