Hello everyone,

we have a walk-in shower with mini tiles. As you can imagine, it is incredibly annoying to constantly clean the large number of grout lines. Therefore, we are considering making the shower floor as grout-free as possible, if possible.

Is there a way to concrete the floor or is there nothing on the market that would be moisture-resistant?

Regards
Dirk

Beton Ciré or similar products. But it will be elaborate and quite expensive. Or a large tile up to the drain and smaller pieces on the side and behind.

Thanks to you . I will consult a professional company to find out what it would cost.

Can you imagine why these mini tiles with many grout lines were installed? Or were there only these small-format tiles in the past?
Just think of a wet tile.

Because it looks good. I did the same myself in the bathroom just the year before last (natural slate). Super slip-resistant, easy to clean, perfect to lay for various slope shapes, if you have normal water (I have no problem with the joints at all). Small mosaics are still very modern today and are installed in all shapes and colors.

I think so too, but that was also a leading question to the OP. One could have simply written: Think about the seamless shower, you will slip and break your pelvis or the neck of your femur. Amen.
