Should the inverter be placed outside?

I have never really read about such sizes before, rather up to a maximum of 11 kWh, so I never thought about larger storage. I also always assumed about €500-€600 per kWh, and unfortunately, we have to watch the money when building the house. But I have also read that you should empty the storage about 220 times a year for it to be worthwhile. They say in winter it won't be full and in summer it won't be empty. Then I would have to empty it overnight. With my planned system size, it might be a bit different, although only half of the system charges into the storage with only one hybrid inverter. If the costs really aren't that much higher, I might reconsider. But space is not unlimited either.

An electric car that drives 60-80km per day with a consumption of 20kWh/100km. Then that would already fit. Additionally, running the dryer, the heat pump, the washing machine, and the dishwasher at night via SmartHome, then it can make sense.

If you get the whole thing at a reasonable price, that is, without a loan and with your own labor.

If the solar specialist company does it, the certified electrician connects it, and Nordanney finances the fun with a 6% consumer loan... then...

not.

Just a thought on what is possible...
That's why my hint at a large storage. You shouldn't spend more than 10k for 25kWh.

Or as a low-voltage variant (which you don't necessarily do, as there are disadvantages).

I have that one too, when a cloud disappears briefly you don't notice much heat-wise. But on sunny days when 25kW come from the roof, it does get quite warm. So in my 15m² technical room it becomes cozy. Therefore, I placed the exhaust of the controlled residential ventilation in this room directly above it, so that part of the warm air is "pumped out."
No idea if it really helps much, but whatever, was for the good conscience. ;-)

Today there were 20-25kW for a few hours. So I put a thermometer in. 22.5°C, thus 1°C warmer than in the neighboring basement room without an inverter. Whether it’s really cozy now, I can’t say.

We have had a Kostal PIKO hanging in the barn for 13 years. No problems, but it is also installed 100% protected from rain. Then I have 3 SMA inverters in the attic. It's insanely hot up there in summer anyway, inverter or not. I would also hang those things outside based on a gut feeling. They must have a few hundred watts of power loss. That definitely heats up.
