Should the inverter be placed outside?

Hi,

For pure self-consumption, that is simply way too much. Splitting could be interesting, running the south side as a full feed-in and the north side still delivers more than enough. But haven't the feed-in conditions worsened significantly now? If the OP gets the system for a good price, then go for it. But I suspect it has to be under €1,000 / kWp for it to really be fun.

Best regards,

Andreas

500€ including storage should be attractive enough.

Ok, if that's the case:

Then that's really fun! But for 20k€ you really have to shop cheaply!

Good luck!

Hi,

Even most of them should handle that without any problems. They are usually built for that. Only it should be better not to rain directly on them.

Best regards,

Well, the packages 450 watt modules (that is 36 pieces) start at 1,800€. Inverters are also not expensive. Two together roughly 3,500€ (1x hybrid, 1x normal). In addition, you add a 20-30kWh battery from 5,000€. A bit of mounting, wiring, etc. and the budget fits comfortably. DIY and no warranty from an installer.
