Who plans something like this? With cavity masonry, the detail must be planned differently because the resulting thermal bridges can hardly be eliminated. For this, with the appropriate static dimensioning of the strip foundation, the floor slab is installed set back by the thickness of the clinker wall, the air layer, and the insulation thickness. That means the floor slab only partially rests on the strip foundation. Then the insulation can be extended down to the strip foundation and the thermal bridge is eliminated. But a planner should know that... Attached is another detail...

Hello,

a separation between the facing brick and strip foundation is not possible. You cannot lay Jackodur or similar as the first layer. This thermal bridge – if it is one – cannot be prevented. And this is not necessary anyway, since the facing brick is outside and (almost) has nothing to do with the inner shell. I don’t care whether the strip foundation cools the facing brick or not. The whole facade gets cold anyway. Just use 10mm or 12mm Jackodur up to the Z-foil (beveled for the optimal slope of the Z-foil) – please, no glass wool... it gets crushed by the Z-foil! Moreover, if the worst should happen, Jackodur is also water-resistant and does not collapse!
