One of the most important criteria for me when furnishing new rooms is always that they are easy to maintain. Cleaning and repairs must not be unnecessarily hindered - in my opinion. For example, I do not use concealed fittings (although they are often easier to clean) because fittings often do not last as long as the house.

No baskets that can rust, everything nicely tiled.

We don't have a €3.99 basket, but an expensive nice shelf that can be quickly cleaned and doesn't rust even after 9 years. The niches look good and elegant, but in my opinion are questionable in terms of cleaning and maintenance. Now the solid care products on bands are coming again, which could hang somewhere?!

… But we also have only two refillable bottles in the shower, which hang in a wall holder. Sometimes a tube of hair treatment still stands in the shower tray.

I think that's good too. I'll take a look to see if there's something for us there. But as I said before: no more plastic packaging for me… By the way, the flitche stands on the floor in the drainage cover for us.

Thanks, that is of course also a possibility! Simply placing it on the bidet and leaning it against the wall. The point about the hanging solid shampoos is also a good one, since I have actually been using them instead of shower gel for years. I hadn't thought of that at all.

Due to my 11.5 cm wall towards the rear guest WC, a niche was unfortunately not an option for us. However, we also did not want a metal basket and then decided on this solution. Unfortunately, it is not quite finished yet. It still needs to be sealed with silicone and cleaned.

I also find this solution very stylish! How are the parts mounted? Screwed into the joints or glued?

The whole thing was glued. Basically, the tiler just glued two tile triangles together and placed a strip of tile on the front edge. Then everything was nicely finished with a Jolly edge and done.
