Shadow casting - Is there still afternoon sun on the east property?

The answer to whether we would prefer the left or the right, of course, also has to do with which rooms get the morning or evening sun and the like. Narrowed down to the aspect of where one can get tanner on the garden lounger, I can't see it.

There is a website where you can display the sun position for any day|season and time, namely on a map with satellite view. I found it very practical for myself back then. Search the property on the map and then look at the sun position, e.g., in the afternoon.

You have to estimate buildings and trees etc. yourself, of course

We stood on the property back then with the phone and simulated the sun path at different seasons and times of the day.

Does that mean: You looked at it online and then walked on the property where the sun would supposedly be?
