Hello,

this is the first winter in my newly built house,
so the optimization of the heating system is also starting

I have installed the Buderus Logaplus package W22
GB172-14, G20, WU160W, RC300 package with outdoor temperature sensor,
the house has a complete underfloor heating system installed with 10cm pipe spacing, triple-glazed windows, exterior walls with 24cm Poroton + 16cm ETICS.

Now the question is how to best set up the heating, unfortunately I did not receive any instruction from my heating engineer.

First, I will give you some data.

Max. flow temperature: 50°C
Heating: 22°C
Lowering: heating off
Summer operation from 13°C
Hot water: 55°C
Circulation switch-on frequency: 3/h
Burner starts: 5247 (since mid-February)
Burner running time: 2387 (since mid-February)

Service menu:

Menu 1:
1.7d. 0: no external flow temperature sensor connected

Menu 2:
2.1A: 14kw
2.1b: 15kw
2.1C: 2: Constant pressure 200mbar
2.1E: 4: Intelligent heating pump shutdown...
2.1F: 0: heating pump and 3-way valve (internal)
2.3b: time interval between burner switch-on and re-switch 10 minutes
2.3C: temperature interval for burner switch-off and switch-on 6K
2.3F: duration of heat holding 1min
2.9F: run-on time of heating pump 3min
2.CE: number of pump starts of circulation pump 3 min on, 17 min off

Menu 3:
3.1A: 14kw max. heat output
3.1b: 15kw max. hot water heat output
3.2b: 50°C max. flow temperature
3.3d: 3.2kw min. nominal heat output

these are the informations I know, I hope I did not overwhelm you too much.

I would appreciate answers.

Thank you very much

I would call the paramedic to kindly turn that thing off... sorry, speaking from experience!

What I notice Warm water at 55 degrees? It does not kill Legionella and I do not want to bathe in water that is 55 degrees warm so turn it down to a maximum of 45 degrees, that is enough.

Then heating at 22 degrees what is that? Where was it measured?

I have set every regulator in the rooms to about 23-24 degrees and regulate the heat directly at the heat pump to a current 23 degrees, because we have a baby, otherwise I would set it directly to 21 degrees. The adjustment always takes 1-2 days because of the inertia.

I forgot to mention that there is an RTH in every room.

I assume 22 degrees is the target temperature, I guess he regulates the flow temperature based on the external temperature sensor.

I would like to call the heating company but we had a bit of a quarrel towards the end, so I don't feel like dealing with him.

Of course, it is then mixed down to the desired temperature. But I still find 55 degrees on an air-water heat pump quite excessive, it is probably a waste of energy or cannot even be reached due to the temperature spread (and possibly activates the heating element).

was was even set to 60 degrees before, but one reads that Legionella are only killed at 55 degrees and above
