Seat window under sloping roof

Hello everyone,

we are planning a window seat in the gallery. However, to the right of the window there is the glass railing separating the air space and on the left side the floor-to-ceiling windows. And the window seat should be placed under the roof slope. Does it even make sense to install such a window seat with a frame? I fear it might look too cramped. As an alternative, one can also consider just the bench or nothing at all (the window remains anyway). The window seat has fixed glazing and a width of 2m. I look forward to your valuable opinions.

We don’t even know why a gallery, a large window in the gable, and floor-to-ceiling windows (towards the balcony?) are planned at all. Spatial effect, achieving something with a measure, and actually implementing everything possible are points that one should question for oneself with the entire house planning. I’ll just ask the very simple question: what is the purpose of the seating window, and if it is about a beautiful panorama, why then not plan it on the balcony? All questions…

... and why not simply have one window with a rather low sill height and a really comfortable armchair there instead. As a rule, it is actually much more comfortable than the window seat and with an appropriate sill height, one should be able to enjoy the view just as well.
