Hello everyone!

After seeing absurd price differences for WPC fences in Google searches (e.g. 6m fence for €600, then for €2,900), the question to the group: Are you aware of affordable suppliers (without installation) for WPC privacy fences? Preferably also from the European surrounding area (Poland, Czech Republic, etc.). The manufacturing and material costs for these things must be enormously low – the selling prices during the season here in [D] apparently are not...

Are you concerned about the even color or the simplified maintenance?

Maintenance experience:
In our terraced house, we have a simple wooden fence made of 3m elements for privacy screening. It was treated once 17 years ago. Since then it has stood without further maintenance, looks good (lively and not clinically clean, a matter of taste), cost almost nothing, and is ecologically sensible.

Due to the long assumed service life of the privacy screen, WPC is ecologically acceptable when recycling plastics are used in production. I would pay attention to that.

Price differences can also lie in the design; some WPC elements look so ugly that for aesthetic reasons you need a privacy screen for the privacy screen.

Hi!

I am concerned about several things:

Function: wind and privacy protection

Color design – I prefer gray surfaces 180cm high with an anthracite frame like, for example, seen here:


Durability: WPC is supposed to be especially great in this regard

Cleaning options: These things are said to be perfectly washable with a pressure washer, which is a plus. With wood, that’s not exactly sensible because it damages the surface

Easy processing: Material that can be easily cut to size and later also allows mounting, for example, of small LED lights with screws.

Based on these things, I came across WPC – if there are alternatives, I’m happy to consider those too

All right, thanks for the clarification. I probably had a completely different scenario in mind. What you are looking for is so far from my own preferences that unfortunately I have no idea outside of Google what would be the cheapest. Polyrattan could be an appealing alternative.
