Hello,

I am about to start construction and am currently dealing with the house entry points for the various utilities. I would like to save the extra cost of a multi-utility house entry and do everything through single-utility entries.
Telekom requires a gas- and watertight house entry including sealing of the cables introduced against the house entry.
Now my question is, can I achieve this sealing with a single-utility entry and protective conduit, or is a simple KG pipe perhaps sufficient?

Thank you very much for your answers.

What does your development plan say and what do the other suppliers demand? The network operator requires a multi-utility system from us. Are €500 so much that you have to botch it and risk a leak afterwards?

With us, the multiservice cost €775 at best.
For KG, there are sealing sleeves for sealing between concrete and KG pipe and sealing inserts that seal the media in the pipe.

Ask your network operator what is required. Single service is more expensive in the end than multiservice because you need at least 3, rather 4 of them.

I have made some calls by now.. my suppliers do not require multi-conduit. Gas wants a protective conduit, they provide that. Water/sewage is my responsibility, most plumbers don’t need a protective conduit, KG pipe would be enough for them. Telekom wants a protective conduit. Electricity has to be decided by the electrician. Ideally, it wouldn’t be that much. Multi-conduit would cost about €1500 extra.

That’s quite a profit margin. Nice price.

Yes, my construction companies can charge well for something like this. If it were under €1000, I wouldn't have thought twice, but this way it makes sense to consider introducing savings. Although the construction company of course also charges a lot for protective pipes ;-)
