If you like it visually, just take that. I had gotten the washbasins myself. It's not really as nasty a job as the toilet, but it can also be really fiddly. We couldn't use the desired push-to-open valves because with the siphon there was no slope possible towards the drain anymore. The overflow on one side is apparently leaking again. And Ikea is somewhat weird when it comes to the drain fittings... In hindsight, I probably could have just had everything done by the plumber for 500 EUR more and would have had less stress.

We also had trouble with that in the last house because we didn’t like anything in the showroom and buying the washbasins ourselves caused the plumber not to want to install them for warranty reasons. We then searched for a long time until we found someone who installed everything for us. Fortunately, we don’t have that with the new house; here we are allowed to choose ourselves and even order online. The planned costs for the items will then be credited to us, but the plumber from our builder will still install everything. He said we will have the items delivered to the construction site and check them together to make sure nothing is damaged (since otherwise we would have to complain), and then it’s okay.
