SAT system in new construction: Unicable or star wiring?

Yeah, that's why it's already firmly planned with me. The only problem for us is that the garage is "behind the house" - so in the satellite reception shadow. So the dish has to go on the flat roof. I just have to make sure that I don't accidentally shade the photovoltaic system (east-west orientation) there with the dish. So I probably need a smaller dish.

Only for Astra a small 60-inch somewhere in the corner where it doesn't bother anyone is enough.

Yes, that's probably due to the app. I usually do it via the computer, my wife on the mobile device. There is almost always live TV from the public broadcasters. Winter sports are never a problem. For some sports events, there are even more channels than those offered on free TV (when there are parallel competitions).

For us, it is actually a "family event". Then all four of us sit on the sofa in front of the telly.

You could probably make it reasonably stable against wind load by weighting it down with a small flat roof stand with concrete slabs, right?
