Because it seems possible and feasible, I plan to completely omit the electricity from this area, but it is not as if there aren't also lamps IN the water that are sealed so securely that they are even allowed in Germany. It also depends on the effort that is put in.

As a rule, living space is defined with a minimum of 2.40m. Depending on the ceiling height, however, you first have to reach 2.40m with the water jet as a complete stream and then it still has to penetrate the lamp. I hardly believe that a child can manage that.

From my point of view, sockets next to washbasins are probably much more dangerous. Here is a picture supposedly from a German hotel:

The madness in German bathrooms and kitchens and so on. Not to forget the terminal blocks dangling somewhere...

The ceiling spot is usually sitting in a hole and also closes off larger so that the hole is completely covered. Then a small connection cable goes into the suspended ceiling where the terminal block or a small junction box is located.
But in general, of course, one should take responsibility for others and simply not ignore unnecessary dangers in the household (no matter how small the probability).
Is there a statistic regarding shower accidents due to 230V live wires?

not that it matters, but for me my question was less about the actual danger (which I believe I could manage with a safe construction) and more about the existing rules - which have already been mentioned several times and which I want to comply with. In this respect, from the questioner's point of view: everything is good

It is not finished yet (the electrician is taking his time ) but now you can see what is meant. The cabinet and the "lighting box" above it come from my workshop. I am leaving out the planned reflector above the shower. It's work, not really necessary, and I'm not sure if it would actually make it visibly brighter under the shower. I'm satisfied. Thanks for thinking along :)

But it is allowed, what major harm could really happen? There must surely be a residual current device installed, and it trips if water causes a short circuit. Then death with a hairdryer in the bathtub or with the lamp above the shower is also highly unlikely.

That's the main thing.
