Then I probably didn't describe it well enough. In the old floor plan, the house basically ends there, with a glass sliding door front. In front of it is a conservatory, but we will not keep it. Since there are buildings both below and above the current outside corner, we will move the glass front forward.

Just as a note to make it easier to understand: In renovations, it is common to depict the existing structure as it is in gray/black. Then you mark in yellow what will be demolished and add in red what will be added.

Won't it become even more confusing if I scribble with different colors on the old plan?

However, it will. Therefore, it is better to take the new plan and make it accordingly three-colored. The old plan (see previous thread, linked here in post #1) does not represent an "actual" in the attic floor as far as I remember, but an unrealized "target" (which cannot serve any clarity).

The DG is not even up for discussion. There is an original plan and then 2 more as it was expanded. But as I said, that is not the topic here. I also didn’t want to make too many specifications with the current plan since, as mentioned, we are open to all kinds of changes. It’s probably still too confusing if you haven’t been dealing with it for a while =/

A conversion is something different from a new build. In your examples, you also demolished one or the other load-bearing wall. That is not comprehensible and, in my opinion, not straightforwardly possible. Are beams supposed to be installed there, or how do you imagine that? Do you know the effort involved? What about the wiring for the stove & co if the kitchen moves to the terrace? How does that look? Completely new, or is something already in place?

I understand that you are willing to invest a sizable amount of money. But what exactly are we talking about here? Demolishing load-bearing walls and new electrical work, relocating bathrooms and repurposing rooms – that borders on gutting.
