[I do not think this is seriously about a roof renovation. The purpose of the thread was to mention a product, i.e. unauthorized advertising. This was removed, the user warned, no further reactions since then.

Thread closed.]

Thread reopened after consultation with OP.

To the matter:

Replacing a 25-year-old intact roof is most likely nonsensical both energetically and cost-wise. If that is the intention, one must first measure the consumption present and, above all, what can actually be saved at the roof; this in turn must be set in relation to the new costs – for this, an expert is needed.

If the tiles are only dirty, they can be cleaned and resealed – possibly a different color can also be obtained; all this costs significantly less than a complete roof replacement.

If the tiles look so far removed from your taste that cleaning/sealing is out of the question, then the cost issue is obviously irrelevant – then just get three offers from roofers in the area and have them advise you on further (reasonable) measures.

Best regards Dirk Grafe

These concrete tiles are not very attractive. Unfortunately, they do not suit my taste. What I really wanted here was to hear opinions about the construction. That the roof is going to be done is beyond question. I want to have everything somewhat new once. So that I don't have to deal with it for the next 30 years. And no, I don't want to build new either. And I know that some here consider it nonsense. So maybe just say something about the type of construction.

Well, I think the structure is okay as it is. Only the [klimamembran] is missing between the insulation and the counter battens.

So more like this:

    [*]Remove pans and battens
    [*]Remove old insulation wool
    [*]Double up with 6/8
    [*]Climate membrane
    [*]40mm wood fiber insulation board
    [*]Counter battens 3/5 S10
    [*]Battens 4/6 S10
    [*]New roofing

Because I thought that the wood fiber insulation board also fulfills the function of the climate membrane.
